Tanury's TiAlN has a bronze color and exceptional
high temperature oxidation resistance.
TPVD TiAlN have exceptional performance when compared
to other coatings in many metal cutting and fabricating applications.
The key to their performance is the addition of aluminum to TiN, which
increases hot hardness, as well as the oxidation stability of the coating.
The oxidation thresholds of TiAlN (800¼ C) are the highest of any commercially
available coating. TiAlN coatings also have excellent ductility which
makes coated components less susceptible to chipping.
