TANURY INDUSTRIES' UNIQUE MULTI-MARKET PRICING SYSTEM

Tanury Industries quotes all gold prices in a multi-market format to reflect the daily London gold a.m. fix. Due to precious metal market fluctuation, the actual cost to plate an item changes daily as the gold market changes. Tanury Industries provides computerized quotations which price items in six different gold markets so our customers know how each item varies in price as the precious metal market changes.

Tanury's quotation system is tied into the billing system and as an item is billed it is automatically re-costed to reflect the current day's precious metal price; therefore, our customers only pay for the exact amount of precious metal on their products as they are plated.

PRICING/COSTING

All products should be priced prior to production. To expedite a quotation please follow these simple guidelines:

  1. Contact your sales representative, or if you are a new customer, speak to our account managers.
  2. To ensure accuracy, please provide an actual piece or blueprint that shows surface area and an exact description of the finish and specification.
  3. If your sample requires pre-finish or post-finish operations and these operations are quoted, production orders will be processed in the same manner unless you specifically state otherwise on your purchase order.
  4. If your product must be tested for wear or corrosion, include the test parameters with your costing sample and clearly communicate the information to your account representative prior to production.
  5. All gold prices are quoted in a multi-market format to reflect the daily London gold A.M. fix. Rhodium will not show multi-market pricing unless it exceeds a base price of $40/gram.
  6. Each item should be assigned a price. Occasionally it is more efficient to group like items and assign them a categorized price. Tanury Industries uses a standard sizing chart to categorize items, and your account representative will be happy to provide you a copy. The categories in the quotation must be referenced in your purchase order. Tanury Industries will verify these categories upon receipt.
  7. Quotations are valid for 30 days. All goods produced will be charged the most recently quoted price.
  8. The item number that appears on your purchase order should be the same number you used for costing.
